Corrie and Nick

Corrie and Nick are a terrific couple who love to have fun together! Their family and friends gathered together to share their wedding day with them at the John Wesley United Methodist Church in West Ashley and the Doubletree Historic Charleston, downtown. Corrie chose yellow and navy blue as her colors to go along with Nick's Air Force dress blues. I enjoyed making the arrangements and bouquets for Corrie and Nick, in beautiful shades of blue and yellow. The blue hydrangea used in Corrie's bouquet were grown in her mother's flower garden. Their wedding and reception was filled with special touches that added meaningful sentiment for the couple, thier family, and friends.
Richard Ellis Photography was on hand to document the event.

The groomsmen that were not in uniform wore the boutonniere's below

Bride and groom exited the church through the 'arch of sabers',
common for military weddings

Corries's bouquet contained hydrangea grown in her mother's flower garden and the handle displayed a special pendant that belonged to her grandmother.

Transporting all of the 'tops' of the table centerpieces
The glass cylinders on the table centerpieces,
were filled with colbalt blue delphinium.
Submersible lights in the cylinders provided a soft 'glow' off the tables.

We kept it very simple for the cocktail tables by floating
a gerber daisy in a bubble bowl with blue jewels.
The couple were greeted with sparklers as they made their exit at the end of the evening.
They went for a midnight tour of downtown Charleston
 before calling it a night!
